Colorado Rovers prioritizes player and community health. We will follow the rules of each jurisdiction that we play in. Players are encouraged to communicate with staff at all times. Any player that shows any symptoms or has reason to believe they have been exposed to the virus will quarantine themselves for 10 days or until they receive a negative test.
EAP – Emergency Action Plan
Colorado Rovers uses fields provided by local schools and municipalities. Our first action in the event of an emergency is to call 911. Our staff have access to emergency contact information.

U.S. SOCCER’S HEADING INITIATIVE
It has been shown that purposeful heading—if taught correctly—does not lead to concussions. Nevertheless, please follow the recommendations to reduce exposure to possible head injuries for younger age groups.
- U11 and younger (age 10 years and under) participants should not head the ball in practices.
- U12 and U13 (aged 11 to 13) participants should be limited to a maximum of 30 minutes per week, with no more than 15-20 headers per player, per week.
- There are no restrictions in place on heading for U14 and up.
